wristband challenge 08

The Wristband Challenge 08 is a contest to see, really, just how long you can keep one of those rubber wristbands on your arm. The rules are simple; put one on by Nov. 8, 2008 at midnight, and keep it on. For more information and to formally join the competition, visit the Facebook group here.

Update, Sunday Nov. 8
Handicaps have been added. If you have not joined the challenge by Saturday, November 8 by 12:00 AM, it's okay. I'm allowing a 7-day handicap. You must record the exact hours:minutes past the original date, however, when you place the wristband on your arm. After everyone else has removed their wristbands (or have had them removed by force O.o), you still will not win until the handicap period has passed.

Also, don't worry if you haven't joined the Facebook group. The way you enter the challenge is by wearing the wristband. I don't even have to know about it. This just helps everybody keep track. So, if you are playing and you haven't joined yet, that would be great. Pics of your lovely wristband and your handicap period (if you have one) are greatly appreciated! Also, when you remove yours (trust me, you will), please post here or tell me or tell someone to tell me or tell someone to tell someone to tell or so on, so we know for sure who's in, out, etc.
